Verity

Strategic Finance, Systems & Decision Support

For growing organizations between $1M and $20M in revenue or operating budget that have outgrown basic bookkeeping but are not ready for a full-time CFO.Founded by Edna Martirosyan, Verity provides fractional CFO support and rebuilds the finance systems, reporting structure, data integrity, and decision support leaders need to operate with clarity and control.

WHY VERITY

Operator perspective, not academic theory.

Verity is built from operating finance work inside companies that grew quickly, outgrew their systems, and needed more than a model or a memo. We know how to fix a finance function because we have done the work from the inside.

Data integrity as the foundation.

Most finance problems are data problems first. A forecast is only as good as the data behind it. A P&L is only as useful as the categorization that supports it. Verity starts with clean, structured data because every report, dashboard, and decision depends on it.

Finance infrastructure that keeps working.

Verity does not stop at analysis. We rebuild the working parts of the finance function: chart of accounts, close process, reporting cadence, controls, documentation, and management reporting. The goal is a finance function that keeps working after the engagement ends.

Hands-on, not delegated.

Every Verity engagement is delivered by the founder personally. The analysis, cleanup, system rebuilds, reporting structure, and documentation are not handed off to junior staff. The person you meet is the person doing the work.

Process Automation & AI. Practical applications of automation and AI to recurring finance work. Categorization, variance commentary, anomaly detection, document processing. Built in where it adds value, left out where it doesn’t.

SCOPE

Verity does not provide bookkeeping, tax preparation, audit support, legal advice, or wealth management. We work alongside your CPA, attorney, and bookkeeper, not in place of them.

Month-End Close Redesign, Reference Model
Service areas: Finance infrastructure, reporting design

HOW WE WORK

1. Discovery. Two-week diagnostic. We assess your current state, audit data integrity, interview key stakeholders, and deliver a written findings memo with a recommended path. Fixed fee. No ongoing commitment.2. Diagnosis & Design. If we move forward, we develop an engagement plan, scope, timeline, and fixed pricing. You see exactly what you’re getting before signing.3. Build & Implement. We execute the plan with regular check-ins. Data cleanup happens early so every subsequent deliverable rests on a solid foundation.4. Handoff. Every engagement ends with documented SOPs, trained internal staff, and a clean handoff. The systems we build outlast our involvement.
